An advocate who also happens to be a copywriter.
You care a fuckton about people–particularly women, BIPOC, and disabled and Queer folx.
You’re a skilled copywriter who transforms complex ideas into simple, memorable and compelling creative deliverables.
As a writer, you’re strategic and empathetic, which constantly pushes you to find new and more engaging ways to bring brands to life through their communications. And your position as an advocate means you value authenticity, culture, and inclusivity above everything else, and ensure to infuse them into every brand you work on.
You are a strong conceptual writer with experience articulating brands across web copy, blogs, email marketing, social copy, and other content, and have a strong understanding of messaging hierarchy in order to communicate the right message, to the right audience, at the right time.
You love to learn. You want to be part of a dope team. You fucking love copy. You’re obsessed with words. You want to uplift your community and other HUGs while making money.
You’ll do:
Take on a lead copywriting projects
Develop and present brand voice presentations
Develop brand copy
Collaborate and coordinate with design partners
Collaborate with editor and proofreader
Work with clients to understand their brand, objectives, and business needs
Lead client project kick-off calls
Attend monthly team meetings
Attend quarterly team training
Requirements:
2+ years experience writing web copy, email sequences, launch copy, blogs, and developing & establishing brand voices.
Strong grammar, conceptual and written skills.
